The additional PKR 2.70 Lac over the VXR brings meaningful quality-of-life improvements, alloy wheels in particular improve the car’s appearance significantly, and the rear wiper is a genuinely useful addition for Pakistan’s monsoon months.

Best for: Manual drivers who want the better-looking, better-equipped Cultus without paying for the AGS.

Cultus VXL AGS Upgraded, PKR 45.91 Lac

The automatic. Same 1000cc engine and full VXL feature set, now with Suzuki’s AGS (Auto Gear Shift) system, a robotised manual that shifts automatically without a clutch pedal.

The AGS is not a traditional torque-converter automatic. It is a 5-speed manual gearbox with an automated clutch and shift actuator. The result is near-automatic convenience with near-manual fuel efficiency, a smart trade-off for heavy city commuters.

At PKR 45.91 Lac, the VXL AGS is PKR 2.32 Lac more than the VXL manual, which is the cost of the AGS system.

What Is AGS, And Should You Buy It?

AGS (Auto Gear Shift) is Suzuki’s automated manual transmission. The 5-speed manual gearbox is retained, but the clutch is operated electronically by a servo actuator rather than your foot. You drive in automatic mode, no clutch pedal, but the gear ratios and mechanical structure remain manual.
